Colac Specialist School is a vibrant learning environment where “kids come first”!

Our school prides itself on providing high-quality learning experiences for all of our students at their academic and social level in the ways that engages them the most. We support all of our students in their learning through Individual Learning Plans, tailored educational experiences based on the Victorian Curriculum, and behaviour supports. Our school follows the School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support framework in order to ensure that our students are happy, healthy, and safe at all times.

Colac Specialist School is proud to provide our community with an Early Education Program (EEP) for pre-school students, in small classes and high levels of therapeutic, social and learning experiences. We also not only offer programs that cater for the learning, therapy, personal and social needs of all of our school-age students (5 to 18 year olds), but are also able to engage our 15+ year olds in careers and Enterprise Education programs.

Our school resides with Colac, on the edge of The Otways National Park in South Western Victoria. We service a large area including the Colac-Otway Shire; reaching Winchelsea, Lorne, Apollo Bay, Simpson, Pomberneit, Cressy, Inverleigh and the many lively townships within the area. We are a proud part of our community and the communities that our students live in.
